we had the most amazing and relaxing vacation with the family at Josh’s place in Treasure beach! with a private beach, snorkeling gear provided, a hot tub, an incredible private... read more chef, and daily housekeeping, we could have gone the whole trip without leaving the premises. this is more than just a place to stay— it is an experience.

the area is very safe and there are a lot of fun things to do. We took Josh’s advice and took a day trip to YS falls and did a boat tour to Pelican Bar. but you don’t even have to leave the house! snorkeling at the private beach is great. there are tons of colorful fish. and chef kero was truly one of a kind! his food was better than anything we had eating out, and he has an incredible singing voice. he even gave us a performance on guitar with his brother for our final night! we laughed, danced, and lit a bonfire under the starlight. (if you like stargazing, bring a telescope — there are tons of stars to see.)

a 10/10 experience. we will be back!

Joshua is one of the most responsive AirBnB... read more hosts we've had and answered all my lead up questions in preparation for the trip. He was right on property for an initial tour, and throughout the stay was just a message away. We were bummed that mother nature did not work with our trip as some rough weather had washed away the beautiful sand and can't wait for it to come back so we can book again. Luckily they put in a 5-person jaccuzzi which overlooked the cove and we had a good time soaking in there. The kids enjoyed fishing, snorkeling and playing in the sandy nooks. We had some delicious meals cooked by Chef Kero, and did a nice day trip to YS Falls. The house itself is on the simple side, but the house and cove is all yours so it feels very private. Joshua and staff are very welcoming and make you feel right at home.

We walled to Billy's Bay one evening and went to Ki's on de Beach for dinner, which took about 30 minutes, and then took a cab home (Josh gave us the number of a local recommended driver). The food was good and the vibe was even better.

Josh lives next door but you won't know he is there unless you need him. He was super responsive when we had trouble getting into one of the bedrooms.

We hired Karo to cook a lobster dinner one night, which we all enjoyed and I recommend!

Even our 4 year old braved the little waves and turned into a water baby, playing for hours. Joshua hooked us up with Kevin of treasure tours to tool our big group around and arrange a couple excursions. Highly recommend YS falls, pelican bar, and checking out treasure beach. We didn’t find it walkable into town (only our most intrepid walkers made it) but we made the trip a few times with help from Kevin and his team. Such a great community vibe. Can’t recommend hiring chef kero enough! He is warm and an incredible chef. So relaxing to wake up to and come home to amazing smells and meals!! So many incredible little nooks to relax and play. Cliff Side Cove was a spacious & well-appointed beach home. The sound of the waves were relaxing and the scenery picturesque. We loved having a private cove to play in the waves & snorkel. We explored the rocky shore and tide pools. It is rustic, natural and perfect for off-the-beaten path travel. Treasure Beach is a cool, safe, sleepy beach town with a new adventure possibility every day. Joshua lives next door & enabled us to feel extra secure in our ability to navigate. He offers excellent services & recs, is well-connected, & his local team made our stay unforgettable. Don’t miss out on Chef Keron’s singing & amazing dishes!! We won’t forget them. The daily cleaning staff was wonderful!! The boat tour was a cool experience!!! Grateful & wish we could’ve extended our stay.

There are 4 separate bedrooms spread out on 3 floors, so if you... read more are a group, there is the ability to get some alone time. About an hour walk or 15 minute drive into the small town. A car is a must. Recommend buying food and supplies in Montego Bay on your way. If you love the big resorts in Montego Bay, this probably isn’t for you. If you hate those big crowded places, this is a much better place to be. The roads from Montego Bay are a challenge. GPS helps a lot, but sometimes leads to dead end farm lanes. Josh is great. Easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about the area.

To our individual massages by Joshua lee stein we came back home feeling new women . We attended the villa on a girls trip for the reggae food festival but enjoyed the full ambience of treasure beach YS falls Pelican Jack sprat . And we loved Dawns place Smurfs check it out for good authentic Jamaican style breakfast . Or the wellness centre for juices and Ital style food

  My wife and I stayed at Cliffside Cove for a much-needed long weekend getaway. The experience was amazing. The house was perfect for our needs. The photos of the house... read more are spot on. The beach is private and the road isn't much used, so the entire experience felt very secluded. We only left the property once, to see Pelican Bar (go see it).

Josh is an excellent host - he is truly among the 1% on Airbnb. Josh overcommunicates in the best way, making sure you have all the info in time to make a decision. He also went above and beyond by booking transportation to/from the airport, a boat trip to Pelican Bar, and driving us to the boat for Pelican Bar. Josh has figured out how to give impeccable service and he really delivered for us.

Finally, Chef Kero cooked all our meals (but one) because we wanted authentic Jamaican cuisine. We were not disappointed - Kero's food was delicious fare that I'm already missing. He's also a really likeable guy who we meshed with right away.

There are multiple day trips that Josh is more than happy to arrange transportation to including YS Falls, the Appleton Estate Rum Tour, and Jamwest with ATVs, horseback riding in the ocean, go kart, mineral bath, and more.
